Plus Two(+2) courses at United Academy:

Altogether, there are 4 programs/streams that United Academy is providing for SEE graduates in the heart of Kathmandu.

1. Plus Two(+2) Science

Science is the most structured path after SEE. You know early on what direction you are heading, and the subjects are specific rather than broad.

At United Academy, the Science program runs for two years and covers Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology), Mathematics, Computer Science, English, Nepali, and Social Studies with Skill Development.

The students who tend to do well in Science are the ones who genuinely liked these subjects in school, not just the ones whose parents pushed them toward it. If you found yourself curious about how the human body works, how machines are built, or how software is made, Science gives you the foundation to go further in those areas.

After completing plus two Science from United Academy, most students go into medicine (MBBS, BDS, Pharmacy, Nursing), engineering (BE or B.Tech), agriculture, environmental science, or pure science degrees like BSc. Computer Science at the plus two level also opens doors into IT and software fields.

The minimum GPA required to join Science at United Academy is 3.0, and you must have taken Optional Mathematics in SEE.

2. Plus Two(+2) Management

Management is the widest road after SEE. It covers business, finance, accounting, economics, and hospitality, which means the career options are broad and varied.

The main subjects at United Academy's Management faculty include Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, Business Management, Hotel Management, Marketing, Computer Science, English, Nepali, and Social Studies with Skill Development.

If numbers make sense to you, if you like understanding why businesses succeed or fail, or if you have ever thought about running your own venture someday, Management gives you a solid starting point. It is also one of the more practical faculties because the subjects connect directly to real work environments.

After plus two Management, students typically go into BBA, BBS, BHM (Hotel Management), banking and finance programs, or business-related undergraduate degrees. It is also a common path for students planning to go abroad for further studies.

The minimum GPA to join Management at United Academy is 2.0.

3. Plus Two(+2) Humanities

Humanities is often misunderstood. Many students think it is only for those who could not qualify for Science or Management. That is not accurate at all.

Humanities is the right choice if you are drawn to language, society, culture, communication, or public service. The subjects at United Academy include English, Optional English, Nepali, Mass Communication, Sociology, Population Studies, Economics, Hotel Management, Mathematics, and Social Studies with Skill Development.

Students who study Humanities at United Academy go into teaching, journalism, anchoring, counseling, social work, event management, translation, NGO and INGO work, and law. It is also a strong foundation if you want to study mass communication or social sciences at the bachelor's level.

One thing worth knowing: Humanities focuses heavily on written communication and critical thinking. If you are someone who expresses yourself well and thinks clearly about social issues, this faculty suits you more than the others.

The minimum GPA to join Humanities at United Academy is 2.0.

4. Plus Two(+2) Law

Law at the plus two level is one of the more specialized choices, and United Academy is one of the few colleges in Lalitpur that takes it seriously as a faculty.

The subjects in Law at United Academy are structured across Class 11 and Class 12. In Class 11, you study Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, and Procedural Law. In Class 12, the subjects shift to Civil and Criminal Law, the Nepalese Legal System, and Legal Drafting. English, Nepali, and Social Studies with Skill Development run through both years.

What makes United Academy's Law faculty different is the Moot Court facility. It is a practice courtroom where students learn how to argue cases, present legal positions, and understand court procedures in a real setting. Most plus two colleges in Nepal do not have this. United Academy does.

After plus two Law, students typically go into LLB programs, work in the corporate legal sector, the judiciary, or in NGOs focused on human rights and advocacy.
